You are searching for a missing relative or need information on his captivity?<\/h3>\n

Since the 1990s we have been trying to identify the POWs buried in the camp cemetery and collecting information on their captivity. Several years ago, Steles displaying the names of Soviet war victims were set up in the cemetery<\/a>. More than 15,000 names of the deceased buried here have been confirmed so far.<\/p>\n

The employees of the Memorial Site will be pleased to support you in your research.

Inquiries can be written in Russian, French or English.<\/p>\n

For supporting your research we need the following information of you:<\/p>\n

  1. Name, first name and, if possible, the father’s name of the requested person.<\/li>\n
  2. Please send us date of birth and death, if known. As well as place of birth and death.<\/li>\n
  3. Maybe you are in the possession of documents, pictures or information on the missing person requested by you. Please send us a copy or link to the documents.<\/li>\n
  4. Please give us information on the degree of your relationship with the missing person. In addition, we need your name, first name as well as address and telephone number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For starting a research inquiry, please send us a written inquiry instead of calling us by phone.
    \nOn weekends the Memorial Site is closed.
    \nIn case you would like to visit us in person, we ask you to make an     appointment<\/a> several days in advance of your visit.<\/p>\n

    Please be patient<\/h3>\n

    Right now, we are receiving up to 100 inquiries annually. The research for documents and information may consume a lot of time in specific cases. For this reason, we kindly ask you to understand that the processing of your inquiry can take (optionally) 2 to 4 weeks.<\/p>\n

    Please take into acount that your inquiry will be processed by volunteers. The volunteers are not able to attend the Memorial Site every day.<\/p>\n
